At first glance, the 18-hole Eschenhof course with a par of 70 appears straightforward, and its flat and relatively short holes stretch through the marshland outside Dachau. However, after just a few holes the matter seems quite different – the course punishes imprecision and excessively risky play. As a result, Eschenhof demands complete concentration from beginners and experienced golfers alike.
For club members and unaffiliated players alike, the Eschenhof golf course offers diverse public gameplay, with a sporting level and greenkeeping standard usually only available to club members.
The course was established in 1994 and has settled very well, and provides something for golfers of all handicaps with its fast greens and long fairways, while the soft marshland course remains lush and green even in the height of summer.
Disciplined play is rewarded with low scores – while mistakes are swiftly punished.
