Schloß Pichlarn

Golf, dine and sleep directly at the Golfcourse. Schloss Pichlarn is offering everything at the same time.

The golf course at Schloss Pichlarn is one of Austria’s oldest. The idyllic surroundings of this 18-hole course, located in the heart of the Enns Valley, complement its exceptional elegance and exclusivity. The course impresses with its natural features such as hills, valleys and forests. The golf architect Donald Harradine did not hesitate to use the naturally occurring features of the Enns Valley when designing the course in the early 1970s.

Nature itself played chief designer of this course and, with the mighty landscape of the Grimming mountain in the background, the resulting par 70 course represents a challenge for any golfer. Michael Moser has held the course record of 65 strokes since 18 June 2012 (previously: Bernhard Langer with 66 strokes).

Regal golfing and stylish encounters…. under this motto, we hold the Schloss Pichlarn competition programme between April and October each season. The highlights of the programme are traditional golf events, such as the „International Schloss Pichlarn ProAM“, and the „Open Spring Golf Week“. These events are also accompanied by evening functions and a diverse range of sporting golf tournaments.
The Schloss Pichlarn golf academy enables beginners and advanced players alike to learn the sport and improve their game on central practice areas, such as putting, chipping and pitching greens, bunker complexes and 10 large tee boxes.
Two PGA-certified golf pros, under the leadership of Head-Pro Alan Mitchell, provide a comprehensive training programme suitable for all abilities and age groups.
